🎀 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

At TRA, we’re recognizing the importance of breast health and early detection. As a small token of support, patients who receive a mammogram with us during the month of October will receive a pink keychain. 💗

Early detection saves lives, and prioritizing your breast health is important not just this month, but all year long.

💕 Mammograms can help detect breast cancer early, when treatment may be more effective. Staying up to date on your screenings is an important step in caring for your health. If you’re due (or overdue) for a mammogram, we encourage you to schedule your screening and make your breast health a priority.

We’re excited to welcome patients to our new TRA Medical Imaging Lakewood location, and this October, we’re especially highlighting an important service: screening mammograms.

If you’re due for your routine mammogram, appointments are currently available at our Lakewood location. Our team is here to make scheduling convenient and your experience as comfortable as possible. 💙

Located at Lakewood Towne Center near Applebee’s, our new location offers a welcoming environment and convenient weekday hours, making it easier to fit your imaging appointment into your schedule.

✨ Please join us in welcoming our newest radiologist, Mohammed Saad Bermo, MD, to TRA! ✨

We’re excited to welcome Dr. Bermo to the TRA team! Dr. Bermo completed his PET/CT fellowship at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle, WA. He also completed his Nuclear Medicine residency at the University of Washington Medical Center, as well as his Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology residency at Alexandria University in Alexandria, Egypt. He earned his medical degree from Alexandria University, Faculty of Medicine, in Alexandria, Egypt.

Dr. Bermo is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and the American Board of Nuclear Medicine, and is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists of London.

We’re thrilled to have Dr. Bermo joining our team and look forward to all he will bring to TRA and the patients we serve. 💙

At TRA Medical Imaging, we believe clear communication is an important part of exceptional patient care. That’s why we offer free interpreter services to help patients and families feel heard, understood, and supported throughout their imaging experience. 🗣️✨

Interpreter services are available for:
✔ In-person interpretation
✔ Phone interpretation
✔ Sign language interpretation

With access to interpretation in nearly every language, we’re here to help ensure our patients have the information they need and feel comfortable asking questions every step of the way.
