📢 Office Hours Update

Our provider will be out of the office on Friday, October 30th. Our office staff will be available until 12:00 PM to answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and assist with other office needs.

We've been seeing a lot of cough, congestion, sore throats, and other upper respiratory symptoms lately!

One question we get often is, "When should I come in?"

Most upper respiratory infections are viral and will improve on their own within 7–10 days. Not every cough or runny nose needs an antibiotic.

Here are a few reasons you should consider being seen:
• Fever lasting more than 3 days
• Symptoms lasting longer than 10 days without improvement
• Symptoms that seem to be getting better but then worsen
• Significant ear pain, sinus pressure, or sore throat
• A cough that continues to worsen or is accompanied by wheezing

Difficulty breathing, chest pain, or confusion should be evaluated immediately.

One thing I always remind patients is that yellow or green mucus doesn't necessarily mean you have a bacterial infection. This is an old myth.

If you've only been sick for a couple of days with mild symptoms, supportive care, rest, fluids, and time are often all that's needed.

Our goal at DEL Health is to treat you appropriately, not prescribe medications you don't need. Sometimes the best treatment really is giving your body time to fight off the infection!

Good news for our CDL drivers!

We are happy to announce that DEL Health has officially been reinstated with FMCSA, and we can now resume performing DOT medical exams!

We appreciate everyone's patience and understanding while we worked through this issue. We are excited to get back to serving our local drivers and helping keep you on the road!

We accept walk-ins Mon-Thurs 8:30am-4pm and Friday 8:30am-12pm.

Fall Break Office Closure Announcement

DEL Health, LLC will be closed Thursday, October 15th, and Friday, October 16th so we can enjoy fall break with our kids!

We will be seeing walk-ins Monday through Wednesday from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Medication Refill Reminder: Please make sure all medication refill requests are submitted through your pharmacy by Tuesday, October 13th, at 5:00 PM so we have time to address them before the break.

We appreciate your understanding and patience as we take a little time to enjoy our families. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your healthcare!

Dena will be out of the office tomorrow, but we have a great provider covering for her who also happens to be great at IVs, so we decided to run an IV special for the day!
