I’m not sure I have the words to fully express what this past week has meant to me, but I’m going to try. 🤍
This was, without a doubt, one of the most challenging and rewarding weeks of my life.
I came to Denver to deepen my understanding of the body and learn more about myofascial release, but I’m leaving with so much more than knowledge.
This week challenged me far beyond the classroom. Navigating a new city alone, speaking up, asking questions, making connections, and allowing myself to take up space. I stepped outside my comfort zone in more ways than I can count, and somewhere along the way, found a new level of confidence in myself.
The genuine conversations, wonderful connections, and sense of community among so many like-minded people are things I’ll carry with me long after this week.
And the incredible instructors at Yoga Medicine! Each brought something so valuable and uniquely their own. Tiffany, your approach to teaching made such an impression on me. Allie, I’ll never look at a wall the same way again. 😆 And Annie, thank you for your kindness, knowledge, and willingness to answer my many questions. I’m so grateful for each of you!
Beyond the techniques, I gained a deeper understanding of my own body and how I can support it. Having struggled with imposter syndrome, this experience reminded me that I belong in these spaces, that my voice matters, and that the work I’m pursuing has the potential to support so many others.
I’m walking away with an unparalleled sense of confidence, gratitude, and purpose.
To Yoga Medicine and every wonderful soul who made this week what it was, thank you. I’ll forever be grateful for this experience.
And to my community back home, I have SO many ideas! I cannot wait to share what I’ve learned and introduce you to the wonderful world of MFR!
Here’s to a lifetime of learning, growing, and evolving.
