Vaginal estrogen is an absolute game changer for so many clients! 👏🏻

For some women, especially during perimenopause, menopause, or postpartum, changes in estrogen can contribute to vaginal dryness, irritation, painful in*******se, urinary urgency, and other pelvic floor symptoms.

✨ Vaginal estrogen can help improve the health of vaginal and urethral tissues, making it a valuable adjunct to pelvic floor therapy (PFT) when appropriate.

Pelvic floor therapy addresses muscle coordination, strength, relaxation, and pressure management, while vaginal estrogen can help address tissue changes that may be contributing to symptoms.

It’s not one or the other — sometimes the best approach is both. 🤍 Check out Antha for more information!

Unless it’s because of sweat then you’re okay 😉

Unfortunately this is something I hear daily. So many women aren’t able to wear certain clothes because fear of leakage and that sucks!

I just want you to know there are options out there. You don’t have to p*e with every sneeze, cough, jumping jack, etc.

I can absolutely tell you sensory processing differences run in my family. My mom once said, “I can’t hear you—I don’t have my glasses on.” 🤣

So yes… sensory processing challenges can absolutely follow you into adulthood.

If you’ve ever…
• Felt completely drained after a busy store
• Needed the TV volume lower than everyone else
• Cut the tags out of every shirt
• Avoided certain foods because of their texture
• Felt overwhelmed by bright lights or too much noise
• Needed movement or deep pressure to feel regulated

…your nervous system may simply be processing sensory input differently.

This isn’t about being “too sensitive.” It’s about understanding how your brain and body experience the world so you can work with your nervous system instead of against it.

As a pelvic floor therapist, this is something I educate my patients on all the time—because your nervous system influences so much more than most people realize.

✨ What’s your biggest sensory ick? Tell me in the comments!

POV: You’re a pelvic floor therapist and now you have to wait two weeks to hear how everything went.

The date. The vacation. The race. The postpartum walk. The tampon. The first attempt at intimacy. The sneeze. 😂

I spend one hour with someone and suddenly I’m emotionally invested in every update. It’s one of the best parts of this work—getting to celebrate every win, no matter how small it seems.

Prolapse can feel terrifying.

The fear, the anxiety, the “Will I ever feel normal again?” thoughts are so real.

But here’s what I want you to know: pelvic floor therapy is about so much more than Kegels. It’s about understanding your body, reducing symptoms, building confidence, and helping you get back to living your life.

A prolapse diagnosis doesn’t define your future. Support exists, and you don’t have to figure it out on your own. 🤍

In this video I’m using Myofascial Release (MFR) techniques. This type of therapy focuses on treating restrictions in the body’s fascia.

Fascia is a continuous web of connective tissue that surrounds:
▫️muscles
▫️nerves
▫️organs
▫️blood vessels
▫️joints

You can think of it like a stretchy internal “body suit.” Ideally it glides and moves freely, but injury, inflammation, surgery, stress, posture, or trauma can cause it to become tight and restricted.

For pelvic floor dysfunction specifically, sustained gentle approaches can sometimes work better than aggressive stretching because they:
▫️reduce guarding
▫️improve tolerance
▫️calm the autonomic nervous system
▫️avoid flaring sensitized tissue
