When I started tapping into my intuition, and see just how powerful that felt sense was, people jokingly started calling me a Witch.
They meant it in a way that implied they were impressed, but it scared me.
“But, witches are villains, outcasts, judged!”
I went on a quest into history and realized why this was presented this way for so long…
A woman in touch with her truth, her voice, her talent, is independent and refuses to settle is a Witch.
It threatens the fabric of all that keeps women “in their place.”
I realized how much this Witch Wound has kept me under a spell. (See what I did there?😉)
I work on my witch wound every day. That means going beyond my fears and…
Choosing to speak my truth kindly.
Becoming okay with not pleasing everybody.
Feeling safe to become a part of the village.
Allowing myself to be seen.
A witch is simply a woman who knows and trusts her power.
Let’s start a different narrative…
Let me know if you’re embracing your witchyness in the comments!
