Before elective filler reversal, we’re performing an intradermal skin test with hyaluronidase the enzyme used to dissolve hyaluronic acid filler.

One forearm site contains hyaluronidase, and the other contains bacteriostatic 0.9% sodium chloride as a comparison. Those little circles help us monitor changes in the raised areas, itching, or swelling over time. 🔍

This screening is one part of our safety assessment—it cannot rule out every allergic reaction, especially delayed reactions.

Always share your allergy history, including reactions to bee or wasp stings, bovine products, or previous filler-dissolving treatments, so we can assess the appropriate next steps.
