Your daily non-negotiables don’t have to be extreme to make a difference. 🙌

Mine are simple:
🚶‍♀️ Walk every day — minimum 5,000 steps
💪 Prioritize 130–150g of protein
🥗 Stick to my 80/20 whole foods to flex foods approach
📵 No phone for an hour before bed

It’s not about being perfect. It’s about having a few promises you keep to yourself—even when life gets busy, stressful, or completely chaotic.

Small things. Done consistently. That’s where the magic happens. ✨

Now I want to hear yours! What are YOUR daily non-negotiables? 👇

It’s World Perimenopause Day 💗

Perimenopause is REAL — and you don’t have to just “deal with it.”

Changes in your cycle, sleep, mood, energy, body composition, libido, brain fog, hot flashes and night sweats can all be part of this transition.

You deserve to understand what’s happening in your body AND know your options. 🙌

GAME DAY Walk & Talk! 🐻⬇️🏈
First of all… I’m wearing a SWEATSHIRT in Arizona. 🙌😂 There’s actually a little chill in the air this morning, and if you live here, YOU GET IT. It has been a looooong, hot summer, and I am ridiculously happy about this. 🍂
We’ve got plenty more game-day Walk & Talks coming this season where we’ll chat about fitness, hormones, strength training, nutrition, GLP-1s and all things midlife health.
But today? Go enjoy your Sunday. Watch your team. Have fun. And somewhere in there, prioritize your protein. 💪🏼
Ordering wings? Perfect. 🍗Want to be a real gangster? Order a side of grilled chicken with your side salad. 😂 That’s 100% what I’d do…
…IF I ate during Bears games.
Which I don’t.
Because apparently I’m completely normal and not at all crazy or superstitious when it comes to Bears football. 🤣🐻⬇️
Happy Sunday and GO BEARS!! 🧡💙

Today's walk-and-talk is about **intention vs. perfection.** 💜

Maybe you planned to get up early and go for a walk.
Maybe you wanted to hit your protein goal.
Maybe you told yourself you'd make it to yoga, drink more water, or eat healthier today.

And then life happened.

What I see so often is that when we don't follow through on our intentions, we immediately jump to guilt, shame, and self-criticism. But what if we gave ourselves a little more grace instead?

Social media can make it look like everyone else has it all figured out. Perfect routines. Perfect meals. Perfect bodies. Perfect consistency.

But remember—you are only seeing a highlight reel.

The truth is that every single one of us has days when we don't get it all done. We miss workouts. We grab convenience foods. We get overwhelmed. We fall short of our plans.

That doesn't mean you've failed.

It means you're human.

Set the intention. Do the best you can with the day you've been given. And if today didn't go as planned, don't carry shame into tomorrow. Simply start again.

Progress isn't built on perfection. It's built on showing up, over and over, imperfectly.

Give yourself the same grace you'd give someone you love. 💜

✨ I'd love to hear from you: What's one intention you set for today, even if you didn't do it perfectly?
