Have you ever been told your pain is "all in your head" because your scans came back normal?
Scans are built to catch structural damage like a tear, a blockage, or a lesion. They aren't built to measure pain, which is generated by your nervous system. After repeated, unpredictable flares, that system can become more reactive, so the threat response amplifies even in areas that read as normal.
Your pain isn't made up. If this sounds familiar, share your experience in the comments.
