New work rules start January 1, 2027. Some adults ages 19 to 64 will need to show, each month, one of the following:

⏱ 80 hours of work, school, job training or volunteering
OR
💵 $580 in monthly household income

What you should know:
✅ Many people are exempt, including anyone 65+, on Medicare, with a disability, pregnant, or caring for a child under 14.
✅ Your plan doesn't matter. Fidelis, MetroPlus, Healthfirst or straight Medicaid, it's the same rule.
✅ Nothing changes before your 2027 renewal.
