Meet Your Southwell Providers! 🩺 We're taking some time to reintroduce the talented providers who have joined the Southwell team over the past year. Today, we're featuring Dr. Omar Al-Rusan and Dr. Hunter Honeycutt.

👨‍⚕️ Omar Al-Rusan, M.D., Pathology
Dr. Al-Rusan completed residency training at Jordan University of Science and Technology and Emory University School of Medicine, followed by fellowship training at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.

👨‍⚕️ Hunter Honeycutt, M.D., Hospital Medicine
Dr. Honeycutt earned his medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine and completed residency training with Prisma Health and the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Greenville.

Together, we’ll honor those we’ve lost to lung cancer, celebrate the strength of survivors, support patients and families on their journey, and raise awareness for earlier detection, better treatments, and healthier breaths tomorrow.

Congratulations to Scott Knowles for winning the Southwell Medical Clinic Excellence Award for October!

A member of the Facilities Department, Scott's title is Electrician, but he does all kinds of skilled maintenance work at Southwell Medical Clinic and the Southwell Musculoskeletal Institute.

“Scott has been recognized for his unwavering support to the clinic and staff,” said Southwell Medical Clinic Practice Manager Michelle Hilton. “He focuses on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment daily. Scott has a willingness to face problems head on with a positive attitude. He is always prompt with his responses, promoting efficiency in the clinic. Scott's jovial nature is an atmosphere lifter which encourages an enjoyable team dynamic. We are truly blessed to have Scott as a part of our team.”

Scott will have a special parking place near the Southwell Medical Clinic employee entrance and his photo will be displayed prominently within the clinic. Great job, Scott!

Dr. Kelly Delgado and staff with Southwell Medical Adel Primary Care participated in the Nurtured Roots Community Helper Trick or Treat Day on Oct. 28. The team gave out candy to the trick-or-treaters. Nurtured Beginnings is a childcare facility and learning center in Adel.

On Thursday, December 3, please join TRMC as we light the Tree of Life at 6:00 pm on the front lawn of Tift Regional Medical Center. Together we can enjoy music, a tree lighting ceremony, and a presentation honoring our friends and loved ones. 🌟
