If you’re starting a GLP-1, make sure you’re getting more than just a prescription.

Your provider should know your health history, help you set realistic goals, monitor your progress, and have a plan for what happens when you reach your goal.

Weight loss is only part of the process. How you get there and how you maintain it matter just as much. 🤎

Hormones fluctuate in perimenopause. We know that. But fluctuating doesn’t mean labs have no value.

Labs aren’t the whole picture, but they can be an important piece of it.

Symptoms + history + labs = more information to make better treatment decisions.

More insight helps with better outcomes, and we can help with that.

Testosterone replacement isn’t always as simple as “your testosterone is low, let’s treat it.”

Fertility matters. Lifestyle matters.

These are conversations worth having before starting treatment.

Weight loss is only part of the story. On a GLP-1, we track body composition every 4 weeks because preserving muscle matters for strength, metabolism, mobility and long-term success.

The goal isn’t just to lose weight, it’s to lose fat while protecting the muscle you’ve worked hard to build.

If you’re on a GLP-1 and have no idea what your body composition is, now would be a great time to start.
