It has always been my goal to make Apia Chips a better-for-you snack using ingredients I feel good about serving to my own family and to you.

As I continue learning and improving our recipes, I recently made the decision to remove xanthan gum from Apia Chips. While some bags currently in stores may still list xanthan gum on the ingredient label, our Original and Cinnamon Roll flavors are now being made without it.

My commitment to my family and my customers will always be to keep learning, improving, and creating Apia Chips with simple, thoughtfully chosen ingredients.

Like so many of us during the pandemic 😷, I found myself snacking… a lot.

But when I decided I wanted to eat better, I struggled to find snacks that were low in carbs, high in protein, and made with ingredients I actually recognized. So I started learning more about better-for-you ingredients and experimenting in my own kitchen.

There were a LOT of chip experiments 😅 — until one day, I made a batch that actually tasted good.

And that’s how Apia Chips were born.

They started from a simple need: I wanted a crunchy snack I could enjoy and feel good about eating. Now I make and pack them for you, with the hope that you’ll enjoy them just as much as I do.

Simple ingredients. Protein-packed. Crunchy. And made to be enjoyed. ✨
