Center for Compassion, LLC Receives 2024 Best of Traverse City Award

Traverse City Award Program Honors the Achievement

TRAVERSE CITY June 26, 2024 -- Center for Compassion, LLC has been selected for the 2024 Best of Traverse City Award in the Alternative Medicine Practitioner category by the Traverse City Award Program.

Each year, the Traverse City Award Program identifies companies that we believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and our community. These exceptional companies help make the Traverse City area a great place to live, work and play.

Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2024 Traverse City Award Program focuses on quality, not quantity. Hello! Just wanted to stop in and fill everyone in on some business updates. Megan's last day will be this Friday 11/18 so Michael will be filling in at the office until further notice. That being said, we will be switching to call-ahead only next week as Michael has various appointments as well as the farm to tend to. Please call a day ahead to place an order and schedule a time for pick up. We will be offering next day deliveries within the Traverse City area. We can also offer mailing for a $10 fee. H**p building materials were officially approved for certification in US building codes at a Louisville, KY conference of the International Code Council last week.

At the meeting, the ICC closed the comment period for hemp+lime (hempcrete) construction for inclusion in the appendix of the upcoming new International Residential Code (IRC).
This was the final step to approving the appendix as part of the new code. The new code will become official in 2024 with hempcrete appearing under the listing “Appendix BA.”
The IRC is the basis for the residential code in 49 of 50 U.S. states (Wisconsin being the outlier).

What an amazing event this past Saturday. "THE GOATS OF CANNABIS" crushed it! I am so happy to see large successful events by individual entrepreneurs bringing back the old feel of the Cannabis Cups without all the corporate hightimes bu****it. Tuck Kulish, JJ, Leddrew, Adam Rzepecki and all your team and security held an amazing event and everyone is already looking forward to the next one! Thank you guys for allowing me to come out and judge the flower competition and hang out for the Day! It was great to spend a few minutes talking to and autographs from Berner, Cheech, and Redman! This is definitely one for the books and getting its own Album!!!
