🌱 A Short Reflection on Finding Our Way Home~
For years, we search for inner peace, purpose, and a place where we finally feel we belong. We grow, gather with others, and sometimes, when the world becomes too overwhelming, find ourselves pulling away.
It isn’t necessarily anyone’s fault. Sometimes, what we are searching for simply cannot be found entirely outside ourselves.
It isn’t in a group, a title, or the approval of others. It begins in the quiet moments when we learn to fall in love with life again…to appreciate each breath, inhale with hope, feel the organic energy of nature, and recognize the divine source moving through us all.
It is learning to love ourselves so deeply that the words that once cut us to our core no longer define our worth. We’ve all been there: being human, feeling deeply, and believing we are doing or saying the right things, only to discover that somewhere along the way, we may have wandered from our own truth.
But this life is an exploration. There is no perfect way to navigate it. There are only experiences, lessons, and opportunities to become more aware of who we are.
One day, we look back and realize, I am who I am today because of everything I have lived through.
And perhaps that is when something beautiful begins to shift. We release the need to belong to something outside ourselves just to feel worthy, accepted, or complete. We begin to understand that our deepest happiness comes from the journey within…from honoring our thoughts, being mindful of our words, and walking a path that feels true to our soul.
Don’t get me wrong. I love my tribe. I cherish the connections, the shared wisdom, and the beauty of finding others who walk beside me.
But I’ve learned something along the way…
I can be a healthier part of my tribe when I first take the time to discover who I truly am.
Because finding ourselves doesn’t mean separating from the world.
It means learning how to stand within it, rooted in our own truth, with an open heart and the freedom to simply be.
Perhaps the greatest journey isn’t finding where we belong.
Perhaps it’s finding our way home to ourselves. 🩵🌱✨
