Start living for your kids. ❤️ Stop using them as your excuse.
Living for them looks like…
Eating enough so you have energy to play, parent, work, and actually be present
Strength training because you want to pick them up now, haul all their crap through an airport in 10 years, and stay independent when they’re adults.
Going on walks because movement supports your heart, brain, stress levels, and longevity—and it normalizes movement as part of life.
Eating vegetables AND getting ice cream with them because you want them to learn that health includes all types of nourishment.
Going to bed instead of doom-scrolling because a well-rested mom has more patience, energy, and emotional bandwidth.
Managing stress because your kids don’t just hear what you teach them; they watch how you handle hard days.
Setting boundaries because constantly running yourself into the ground isn’t the only definition of being devoted to your family.
Having hobbies, friendships, dates, and goals outside motherhood because being a healthy mom includes remaining a whole person.
Letting your kids see you care for your body without constantly criticizing it.
If you’re a mom in your late 20s or early 30s, I think there’s a shift that starts happening. And health stops being just about fitting into a smaller size or looking good (but yes we also want to look good still).
You’ve start thinking about the fact that these little people are watching you.
So moms - I want to hear from you:
What is ONE thing you’re doing for your health now because you want to still be doing life WITH your kids 20+ years from now?
