We are SO excited to announce that Dr. J. Hunter Lambert, a board-certified urologist and native of Burnsville, Mississippi, will join the Urologic physician team in February 2027. 💙
Dr. Lambert earned his medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson and completed his urology residency at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. He has spent the past 2½ years practicing in Tennessee and is now returning home to Northeast Mississippi.
Dr. Lambert and his wife, Hannah, originally from Belmont, both grew up in the area and are proud Ole Miss alumni. They’re excited to return home and raise their two young children, Jack Thomas, 3, and Lucy, 1, close to family and the community that helped shape them. When he’s not caring for patients, Dr. Lambert enjoys spending time with his family, golf and course architecture, Ole Miss games, and live music.
“After time away for training and practice, I can’t wait to return to the community that helped shape me and give back to the people and place that supported me along the way. Even more meaningful is the chance to raise my kids in that same environment. Grateful for this next chapter and looking forward to serving patients closer to home.”
