They really thought we wasnβt gonna read the back of the package.
The front of the package is designed to grab your attention. Thatβs marketing.
The ingredient list is where you learn whatβs actually in your food.
The next time youβre grocery shopping, take an extra 30 seconds and flip the package over.
Hereβs what I recommend looking for:
βοΈ If sugar is listed as one of the first few ingredients, the product may contain a significant amount of added sugar.
βοΈ Compare similar products. You may be surprised to find one has a much shorter ingredient list than the other.
βοΈ Look for ingredients you recognize. Foods that are closer to their natural form are often easier to identify.
Remember, you donβt have to throw everything out of your pantry overnight. Wellness isnβt about perfection. Itβs about making better choices one step at a time.
