Rev up your Bloody Mary game!Adam’s take on this delicious brunch cocktail adds a unique flavor and heat with TONS of herbal support! Recipe: Start out by adding ice to a 32oz mason jar or shaker. Adam likes using the mason jar since it has measurements on the side so you always have a perfect pour. Add 2oz of @bluebarrendistillery Sugar Kelp vodka because drinking local is where it’s at, and those ocean flavors blend so well. Add 1 Tablespoon of @herbalrevolution Fire Cider made with fiery farm grown herbs and vegetables like garlic, habanero peppers, ginger, turmeric, onion, and horseradish to name a few! Even though there is horseradish infused in the Fire Cider, we like to then add 1 tablespoon of freshly ground horseradish for texture, flavor, and a speckled appearance. Add 1 Tablespoon of your favorite pickle brine.Squeeze half of a lime Pour tomato juice into the jar and fill just before the 16oz mark to leave room for your garnishes. Take a separate pint glass and lightly rub the spent lime wedge on the top of the glass. Pour blackening seasoning, tajin, or any spicy seasoning you like on a plate and spin the glass face down to give you a spicy rimmed glass. Pour contents of the mason jar into the pint glass. Dandelion root fries! This recipe from Kathi’s book is so delicious, nutritious, and fun to make! Start out by harvesting the roots when they’re young and tender. You’re going to want to separate the roots from the greens and wash them THOROUGHLY. After you slice and season them, spread them out on a baking sheet and bake them at 350 for 12 minutes and check every 2 after if you want them darker. Kathi likes hers almost burnt!For maximum flavor and herbal support we made an easy Fire Cider honey mustard by mixing spicy mustard, Fire Cider, honey, seasoning, and top with some spring chives and a dandelion blossom. Our herbal spin on the Snow Globe cocktail and mocktail is SO TASTY!
Start by adding fresh cranberries and water to a bowl shaped glass and add a sprig of rosemary in the middle. Make sure you have enough cranberries to help it stay vertical, and freeze your glasses until you can tilt them upside down without the contents moving. Add a dropper full of Elderberry Mushroom + Roots Elixir and your favorite sparkling wine for the cocktail version, or Elderberry Tonic and sparkling water for the mocktail version! Both are so delicious and such a fun presentation for this time of year.
