So proud of you, buddy! ❤️

We talk a lot about the athletes, the coaches, and the parents… but what about the brothers and sisters who practically grow up at the ball field? 😂⚾️

The early mornings. The long weekends. The sideline snacks. The waiting. The cheering for their brother, even when it’s not their turn to shine.

They might not be wearing the uniform, but they’re part of the team in ways we don’t always recognize. 💙

And someday, these little siblings who spent their childhood at the ball field will look back and realize they were making memories, too.

Not every kid making sacrifices on game day is the one in uniform. 🤍⚾️

Some of my favorite chapters are written on baseball fields. ⚾️🤍

Little moments, big memories, and boys who are growing up way too fast.

If only we could slow these chapters down just a little. 🥹

Maybe the goal isn’t to do more. Maybe it’s to be more present for what we’re already doing.

Sitting at Emilio’s game today, I found myself reading a few pages during the break.

One line stopped me:

“We may convince ourselves that our busy is necessary and unavoidable. That isn’t true, at least not entirely.”

Oof.

Because motherhood can make busy feel like a badge of honor.

The practices.
The games.
The work.
The errands.
The appointments.
The house.
The endless to-do list.

And somewhere in all of it, we can forget that our kids don’t need us to experience every single moment at 100 miles an hour.

They need us there.

Present.
Paying attention.
Watching from the stands.
Laughing about the little things.
Actually living the chapter we’re in.

Maybe slowing down doesn't mean doing less with our lives.

Maybe it means being intentional about what deserves our time.

Because one day, this season of loud ballfields, long weekends, and busy family calendars will be a chapter we wish we could go back and read again. ⚾️🤍

So today, I'm reminding myself: I don't have to rush through this chapter just because life is busy.

There’s something about watching them sit in that dugout that makes you realize…

They’re not little anymore.
They’re learning the game.
Making friends.
Finding their confidence.
Building memories that will stay with us forever. 🤍

As moms, we spend so much time getting them where they need to go… practices, games, tournaments, early mornings and long weekends.

And somewhere between the innings, we realize we’re living the memories too.

These are the chapters I know I’ll wish I could reread someday. ⚾️

⚾ Life Between Chapters

The hardest part of motherhood isn’t watching them grow… it’s realizing how quickly the chapters turn.

Yesterday I was packing T-Ball bags, today, my youngest is stepping onto a travel ball field.

New fields. New teammates. New experiences. New memories waiting to happen. ⚾️

And me?

I’ll be right here on the sidelines, probably with a camera in my hand, cheering way too loud, and trying to memorize this version of him before he grows into the next one.

Notes from a mama in between chapters:

Let them grow.
Let them explore.
Let them become.
And soak it all in while you can. ❤️

A little reminder that I’m more than my to-do list. 💜

Still a mom.
Still a wife.
Still building businesses.

Still showing up for everyone else.

But somewhere in this chapter, I’m learning to show up for me, too.

✨ Life between chapters.
