Important Announcement: Temporary Suspension of all Reiki treatments, trainings, and shares.

Dear Students, Friends, and Coworkers in the Light.

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to each of you for your continued dedication, warmth, and our shared experience in our journey down the path of the practice of Reiki.

After careful and deep consideration, I have decided to suspend all upcoming Reiki classes and Reiki Shares / gatherings as well as individual treatments indefinitely for the foreseeable future.

Due to unexpected personal and family commitments that require my full presence and attention at this time, my priority must be with my family. As an instructor, I have always believed that teaching requires complete presence of mind and heartfelt focus. Stepping back until I can once again offer that level of dedication to my students is, for me, the most honest and responsible path.

To all of my students: please continue to cultivate your daily practice and keep the spirit of the Precepts alive in your everyday life. Though classes are on pause, I continue to hold all of you in my thoughts and prayers.

I will be sure to share an update whenever the time comes to resume classes in the future.

Thank you so much for your kind understanding, patience, continued support, and respect for privacy in these difficult times.

Komyo ReikiDo Shoden training (level 1) Saturday, August 1st, 12pm-5:30pm at Beam of Light Therapeutics' Amethyst Room (or Malachite Room) upstairs above Sunspot Natural Market - Kokomo, 3717 S Reed Rd (US931S) Kokomo, Indiana. Cost $150. Shoden teaches what Reiki is, about the people in our lineage, the 5 Reiki principles, the Komyo ReikiDo Motto, characteristics of Reiki, how to place hands and 2 different sets of hand placements, Byosen & Hibiki, and more. The focus of Shoden is self-healing.

Komyo ReikiDo Chuden training (level 2) Sunday, August 2nd, 12pm-5:00pm at Beam of Light Therapeutics' Amethyst Room (or Malachite Room) upstairs above Sunspot Natural Market - Kokomo 3717 S Reed Rd (931S) Kokomo, IN. Cost $250. Chuden teaches 3 symbols (1st increases strength, 2nd breaks bad habit, 3rd empowers distance healing) as well as several traditional reiki techniques used for healing others.

While the focus of Shoden & Chuden is self healing and healing others, the ultimate goal of all the levels is Satori or enlightenment, which comes from inside our minds -- not obtainable from outside the self.

***Chuden Class Prerequisite *** You must have had EITHER Komyo ReikiDo Shoden certificate for at least 30 days OR level 2 or higher in any other Reiki system will allow you to take Shoden and Chuden at the same time---your existing Reiki certificate from an in-person training must be submitted.

Online certifications are not recognized by Komyo ReikiDo.

Congratulations to Aiyana Fraley, Alejandra Challa, and Graham Davidson for completing their Shinpiden training and becoming Shihan Candidates in the Komyo ReikiDo system of Reiki. It is with heartfelt gratitude that I have been able to assist them on their journey towards sharing the way of Komyo ReikiDo with others.

Congratulations to the newest Okuden (level 3) graduates: Aiyana, Alejandra, and Kathryn!!! Okuden=inner or deeper teachings. The focus of Okuden is on the spiritual side of Reiki Ryoho. We deepened our understanding of Reiho and also learned the fourth symbol along with its meaning and uses.

Congratulations to the newest Komyo ReikiDo Chuden (level 2) student, Aiyana. We learned 3 symbols to help with physical healing, emotional healing, and distant healing, as well as several traditional Reiki techniques and methods to heal others (and ourselves too).
