Apparently birth faces haven’t changed much in 600 years 😂 let’s have a little fun this morning!

Choose your medieval birth mood, left to right:

1. “Please I JUST gave birth.”
2. “There are HOW many?!”
3. “This baby is ROOMING IN.”
4. “I SAID I wasn’t going to lay on my back.”
5. “Wait… I actually did it?”
6. “Someone please fix my pillow.”
7. “I live here now. Bring me the boob.”
8. “FINALLY time to freshen up.”
9. “We’ll discuss having another baby later.” 😂

Which one are you? Drop your number below, or tag a mama who will understand. 🤍

You asked for a sign… 😂🤍

Peanut balls, prayers, and a whole lot of time spent beside women as they become mothers. I really do love being your doula.

Birth is a big deal. Having someone you know beside you to help you get comfortable, talk through a decision, pray with you, or remind your husband it’s a good time to eat something can mean so much.

It’s an honor to be invited into that space. To care for you while you prepare to meet the little person God has entrusted to you. 🤍

Your husband wants to help. Sometimes he just needs a little guidance on what that can look like in labor. 🤍

That’s something we prepare for together during prenatal visits. We practice comfort measures, talk about your preferences, and give him a chance to ask his own questions, too.

You can tell him now what helps when you’re overwhelmed. Do you like encouragement, quiet, a hand to hold, or someone praying with you? Start there, knowing what feels good might change during labor.

I love helping husbands feel more comfortable supporting their wives as they welcome their baby. There is so much love in those simple moments of caring for each other.

Save this to read together. And if you’re expecting in 2027, book a free discernment call through the link in my bio. I’d love to hear about your family and what you’re hoping for this birth.

Girl to girl, I love celebrating a new baby. But I also want to know how the mama is doing!! 🤍

How are you feeling about birth? What questions do you have? What would help you feel more prepared?

I’m Nicole, a Catholic doula and mom of three. Through Holystic Maternity Care, I help you work through those questions, prepare for labor, and plan for the early days with your baby, with your faith part of the conversation.

If you’re expecting, I’d love to get to know you. And if your friend is pregnant, send this her way. Sometimes an introduction is how a mama finds the support she’s been looking for. 🤍

Today we honor Our Lady of La Leche and Our Lady of Childbirth. 🤍

Mary cared for Jesus in the daily, physical work of motherhood: carrying Him, giving birth, nursing Him, and holding Him close. What a beautiful reminder that caring for our babies is holy work.

Today I’m praying especially for women waiting to conceive, mothers preparing for birth, those navigating feeding challenges, and those carrying the grief of loss.

May we bring our hopes, worries, and children to Jesus through His Blessed Mother.

Our Lady of La Leche, pray for us!
Our Lady of Childbirth, pray for us!

You don’t need to have your birth plans figured out before we talk. That’s part of why I offer a free discernment call. 🤍

Bring your questions, your hopes, and whatever you’re feeling unsure about. We can talk about how I support you, how your husband is involved, and what Catholic faith support can look like during your birth.

It’s also a chance to get to know each other. I want you to feel comfortable with the person you invite into such a personal part of your life.

I’m booking 2027 due dates! If you’re expecting, I’d love to hear about you and your growing family. Book your free discernment call through the link in my bio.
