How do you know what your body needs instead of just chasing rabbit trails for hormone balance?
Because no one wants to spend their time and money on things that are not helping them, it’s important to take a step back and look at your OWN body so you can get a better idea of what your body needs to thrive.
Here are some questions that can be helpful to ask yourself that might give you some clarity about what your body needs and what things could help…✍️
1. What symptoms am I having?
(Ex: painful periods, mood changes, energy levels)
2. When do those symptoms show up?
(Ex: the week before my period, when I workout too hard leading up to my period, before ovulation)
3. Are there things that I notice that may be contributing or that may be helping?
(Ex: stress, imbalanced meals, eating raw carrots, prioritizing protein)
4. If taking BBT (basal body temperature) in the morning, is there a pattern that I notice? Am I getting a temp spike around ovulation?
(Ex: lower temps prior to ovulation, spike in temp around ovulation, higher temps post ovulation)
Taking notes about what you are noticing can help you get a clearer picture of what you might be dealing with and what your body needs.
