Pink from coast to coast (and a few home offices in between) 💗
For Breast Cancer Awareness Month, our team showed up in pink to honor the survivors, the fighters, the caregivers, and the people we’ve lost, including those in our own families and communities.
It’s also a reminder of why we do this work. Black women are about 40% more likely to die from breast cancer than white women, and they remain underrepresented in the clinical trials that shape how it’s detected and treated. Closing that gap takes more than one month of awareness. It takes trust, access, and research that actually reflects the people it’s meant to serve.
So this October, we’re wearing pink, and we’re getting back to work.
If you haven’t scheduled your screening yet, consider this your sign. And if someone you love has, check in on them today.
