Pictured in June of 2018 is Cumberland County School Board candidate Demetrius Stocks, showing his full support for Foundation29. He was at the fundraising event at Cape Fear Valley North location helping cancer patients. Long before this campaign, Demetrius was already showing up, supporting local organizations, and investing in our community.

His commitment to service and community isn’t new, it’s something he has demonstrated for years. It’s truly special to look back and see how those moments of support and service have come full circle.

Always community-oriented. Always willing to show up. Now ready to serve Cumberland County’s students, families, and schools.

What an incredible honor! 💚💙

This weekend, Santana’s entire 5th grade class was featured in a demo edition of the Letters of Hope book by the Live Like Elias Foundation (coming soon!)📖✨

Every handwritten note was filled with love, faith, encouragement, and hope for Elias during his cancer journey. Seeing these heartfelt words preserved is a beautiful reminder that even the smallest acts of kindness can make the biggest impact.

I’m so proud of these students for pouring their hearts onto paper. Every single letter mattered. Every single word was written with love, compassion, and hope. Their kindness is a testament to the power of community and the impact young hearts can have on someone else’s journey.

Foundation29 is proud to stand alongside the Live Like Elias Foundation in supporting children and families facing cancer. Together, we believe that hope, compassion, and community can make a lasting difference one child, one family, and one letter at a time. 💚💙

Today marks 15 years since we said goodbye to the woman at the heart of Foundation29.

We take this day to reflect on her beautiful life, her unwavering love, and the lasting impact she made on those around her. Though she is no longer with us physically, her spirit continues to guide our mission and inspire all that we do.
