Family Run in the USA MeditationBench.com is a family run business located in Ananda Village in the beautiful Sierra Nevada foothills in Northern California. Tim Kretzmann was a woodworker, a meditator and a musician for almost all of his adult life. As one who meditated daily, he deeply valued the opportunity to make fine quality meditation products that could aid others in this invaluable and transforming practice. Tim lived at Ananda Village, a yoga and meditation community, from 1978 until his death from cancer in August of 2012. He lived a life of great joy and service which helped make many happily-meditating customers over years. Now the business is carried on by Tim's son, Peter Sanjaya, with that same attitude of joy and service that Tim lived so well. As a certified Yoga and Meditation instructor, Peter Sanjaya has served as a teacher, musician, and friend through Ananda Los Angeles and Ananda Worldwide for almost a decade. With the inspiration to share more broadly the teachings and inspiration Peter has received, a new site was born! - StillnessInside.com. This site offers meditation courses on yoga and meditation philosophy, spiritual coaching, and inspiration. Combining the ancient wisdom of the East, with the modern practicality of the west, Peter guides us to live in the highest truth, in our own highest potential. This means creating the physical space that in turn helps foster that inner place of stillness that we all have deep within ourselves. The world is often a place of stress and chaos, but each of us has that place of inner stillness within ourselves that we can tune in to. If enough of us live from that calm center within, the world will be a much more beautiful and peaceful place.
