Ever notice your worst thoughts never show up at ten in the morning?
They wait. They show up at 3am, when the house is dark and quiet and there is not one single thing you can do about any of it.
You can't call the bank. You can't fix the conversation you had with your sister. You can't send the email or check the test results or undo what you said on Tuesday.
And that is exactly when the mind gets loudest.
I want you to notice what that tells you.
If worry were really about solving the problem, it would show up when you could act on it. It would tap you on the shoulder at 10am with the phone in your hand and the office open.
It doesn't. It shows up when you can't.
That isn't your mind helping you plan. That's a loop running on a tired system with the guard down. It feels urgent because everything feels urgent at 3am. It feels important because it's the only thing in the room.
So the answer isn't to think harder in the dark, or to finally solve it before sunrise.
The answer is to stop treating the loop like it's information, and to teach your system how to let it go.
