The Speech and Language Center was proud to participate in last Tuesday’s Trunk or Treat event hosted by our local Early Intervention/Community Services Board! Our founder, Lora, was joined by two wonderful young volunteers who helped make the festivities more inclusive by sharing Halloween-themed communication boards created by our very own BCBA Jordan. The girls not only used the boards to support communication with children and adults at the event, but also took the initiative to identify individuals who might benefit from having one to take home. Families were excited to receive them, and the girls had just as much fun giving them out! It was a wonderful evening of community connection and a reminder that even small gestures can make a meaningful difference in creating inclusive experiences for everyone.
