Breathwork is a healing therapy that uses conscious circular breathing to unlock an altered state of consciousness. The accelerated breath clears emotional blocks and stagnant energy from the mind and body. Conscious circular breath work increases the circulation of oxygen through the body, which activates different areas of the brain to create new neural pathways for a deeper awareness and stronger self of sense, while releasing unresolved emotions and trauma. This session consists of the use of your conscious circular breath, reiki, evocative music and vibrational sound, which will leave you feeling lighter and a deeper sense of clarity. The event will start with an opening meditation, 50 minutes of breath work and energy work then we will close with a meditation and sound bath to integrate.
Alexa Shackelford is a Certified Breathwork Facilitator based in Atlanta, Georgia. Breathwork has given her many years of comfort and healing for her mind, body and soul. It is her intention to pay it forward to provide a sacred container of conscious breath, evocative music and vibrational sound to heal unresolved emotional trauma and to bring you back to YOU.

These girls noticed how they felt at the beginning of class, and then how they felt differently by the end of class, using our body and breath to shift our energy & mindset rather than our mind. How will binds grow my practice?
Physically, binds open the shoulders and chest.

Aerial Yoga Teacher Training at Honor Yoga Roswell with Jessi Rae and Debbie Marshall. This enrollment runs from Thu Oct 6, 2022 - Sun Oct 9, 2022. Aerial Yoga training is a 45/hr training that is designed for those who have already studied and completed a 200/hr yoga teacher training. In order to teach Aerial Yoga for Honor Yoga, a 200/hr YTT is required. This training will cover a basic understanding and guide to combining yoga with aerial arts on the apparatus known as a hammock or sling. Aerial Yoga is not just some trend, it is a bridge between and the fusion of two practices that can empower healing, promote Self-study and growth all while being fun. The training is an offering of tools and ideas on the theory and practice of teaching aerial yoga, such as class planning and understanding students needs. Aerial yoga offers a new dimension to a traditional asana practice; making poses more accessible, engaging and activating new muscle groups, finding emotional growth, increased memory retention, better physical control and coordination and even integrating therapeutic properties. The hammock serves in a multi- functional way to support the body in asanas, exercises and stretches and in dynamic movements and static postures. There is an endless amount of possibilities to connect body, mind and spirit through an aerial yoga practice. “Many times it is easy to gather moments of peace, joy, pause and rest while still in our day to day lives. Our last retreat was just that, no long breaks, expensive travels but an opportunity to step back close to home yet far away. We spent a beautiful weekend doing yoga, meditation, fire circle and overall just relaxing with Monique leading the way for this immersion in the North Georgia Mountains.
