As we navigate the powerful energy of the upcoming solar eclipse and new moon. Lately, I have been thinking a lot about the Mayan calendar sign Ajmak (or K'ib'), which represents the ancestors, forgiveness, and inner wisdom. Personally, I deeply connect this with the medicine of the vulture—an animal very close to my journey that transmutes death and decay to bring forth new growth and life.
Ajmak guides us to release ancestral karma and find forgiveness for ourselves and others. Right now, many of us are revisiting old stories, patterns, and bloodline karma, which for some is even manifesting as physical ailments. It has been difficult to watch, especially when it involves people close to us. While I am trying to practice observing without engaging, it is challenging when these dynamics impact the people we care about. I am reminding myself that these family patterns are not my story to carry.
It takes a lot of bravery to sit in that discomfort and face these deep issues without the fear of letting others down. I realize I cannot walk down these old paths anymore; I need to be braver in navigating my own growth.
Sharing this made me wonder: what did our inner child need back then, and how can we provide that for ourselves now without carrying all this extra weight?
Thinking of you,
Love always,
