If you find yourself in a season of new grief or a season of learning to be with old grief, may you find safe tending, honoring language, and kind space.

Join me for “the art of grieving with horses” workshop Unbridled Way Forward on Saturday, Nov. 7th.

The horses bring such kindness, curiosity, and strength to the tender places we hold with our bones. Come experience and honor the quiet parts within.

I am so grateful to pause in the midst of this season to tune in, mark, move, and breathe into the invitations fall brings us. There’s a wisdom in moving with nature. There’s a gift in being reminded that we don’t have to hold onto the harvest in fear but rather share generously from enoughness. There’s a freedom and lightness that comes when we partner with surrender and relinquish our grasp. There’s a peace that settles quietly within when we make room for our own souls.

Space embodied
Surrender practiced
Nourishment felt

I am grateful to stand around the fire and practice making room in our lives and in our beings. It was so nourishing to move and intentionally feel our feet beneath us for 60 minutes.

Here’s to the wisdom of giving ourselves soace, settling, and trusting there’s enough for us all.

Little steps do add up! I wouldn’t have imagined 10 years ago when I was dreaming up how to help others heal trauma thru the body, that I would be eventually be asked to speak on healing, wholeness, complex trauma, embodiment, and growth. I didn’t realize that all of my education, degrees, story work, and healing work would lead me to a platform to speak and bring hope.

Little by little, as we keep saying yes to what’s in front of us, we build a beautiful harvest of wisdom and goodness to plant seeds in our communities, professions, families and world. Keep going if you’re following your path. Keep doing your inner work so you can draw upon a harvest of goodness to share hope and light.

I’m always so grateful to get to teach my model of embodied growth and bring it to fellow healers, helpers, clinicians and providers in this field. Thank you so much to the Addiction Professionals of NC for having me a part of your fall conference. It was an honor to gather and join the good work so many are doing.

Here’s to #39 and gentle entries into celebration. There was something simple and beautiful about moving through my birthday in the middle of the week, in the mundane of daily life, and in the company of my little family. I started the day with the beauty and truth and ended the day with joy and cake. I felt loved by my friends and family near and far and founds so many little bright spots throughout the day.

This last year was challenging in ways my soul wasn’t expecting and asked me to grow deeper, steadier, solid roots both spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and relationally. Things became clear and life became more simple as a result. Gods voice became louder, truth became a lifeline…goodness and peace followed. I held my people close and found comfort in so many ordinary spaces like the garden, church, my porch, a puzzle, and my people. On this side of it all, I value gentle rhythms, honest places, and spacious places to land.

I am truly carrying so much love into this next year. Let’s go #39 💗🎉🙏🏽

Music is medicine that we’ve used for millennia. It accompanies us in the highest of highest and the lowest of lows. It serves as a back drop to everyday mundane life as a symphony of support.

Landing during times of change can be one of the hardest things to physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually do. As I sat with my tune up group this morning and let the music wash over me, words and order and gratitude started flowing. I’ve been in a big season of change and what a gift it is to have places to land

This is the beauty of getting organized in the soul and the spirit. This is the medicine of being nourished, filled, and gathered.

This morning reminded me and what it feels like to receive——

A chorus of strength
A chorus of support
An spiritual masterpiece of healing
Hearing the reminders that
God is with us
God does hold us
God always guide us
God will settle us
God is in us

My next somatic healing group starts in January and will carry you from winter to spring. This is truly a blend of eastern and western medicine which invites the whole being to participate in gentle and kind ways.

It’s the season of laboring well…

I wrote a few thoughts and words to welcome the fall equinox. Meet me on your mat, in a tune up group or with the horses this fall.
