WHY THE MENGELE OBSESSION? Josef Mengele, a.k.a as the Angel of Death, was the infamous N**i camp doctor who have brutally murdered an untold number of prisoners in the name of research and the good of humanity, by experimenting on them with fatal, barbaric and torturous practices, especially children of Jews, gypsies, and twins. This page aims to expose modern day abortion activists as none other than intellectual brothers and sisters of ancient human-sacrificing cultures, just like Josef Mengele had been. Over the course of history of the human race, in every culture, there has always been an obsession with a small group who considered themselves the elite, above all other people, free to take life, liberty and property from the larger group as a right they claimed to posses. Humanity has never been able to fully escape an obsession with the death of others in exchange for their own perceived benefit. Christianity is the only cultural phenomenon that has successfully introduced a life-obsession to humanity replacing its death-obsession. In ancient times, inexplicable events were considered supernatural and messages from the gods. A member of high standing, often called the high priest, would "interpret" these events and proclaim the required response, which oftentimes have led to sacrifices being offered to appease the gods, or to solicit godly blessings. Many ancient cultures resorted to sacrificing their children believing that the gods could be swayed with a higher-valued offering, such as a child, a virgin or someone with outstanding beauty. The method of sacrifice also influenced the perceived value of the sacrifice, which led to barbaric and bloody rituals during which innocent children were brutally slaughtered in public to gain favor from the gods. For a culture to justify such brutality, two opposing perceptions have to be present: on the one hand, the value of the life of the sacrifice has to be devalued and on the other hand, the stature of the god, the level of appeasement or blessing sought, has to be elevated. Once this moral separation has reached critical mass, no burden of the conscience exists upon people and especially not on the parents placing their child in the hands of a priest with a knife in the public square. Instead, the parents were rewarded with gratitude, honor and favors from the king or tribal chief, because, in mere moments, their child would be in the presence of the gods and appease them on behalf of the common good of the tribe. That was in ancient times. This is the 21st century. What has changed? Nothing fundamental, at least. The common denominator that survived till today is the overwhelming belief in a cause – just as the belief in the ancient gods were – that human life may be devalued, on the one hand, and the cause sufficiently elevated, on the other hand. Here too, just as in ancient times, once the moral distance between these two beliefs reached critical mass, the believers will have no burden of the conscience to extinguish human life to further the cause. Ancient tribes believed in gods to explain events which they could not. Modern tribes believe in themselves as the gods who should be appeased and receive sacrifices from the common people. This is the extent of the evil with which we are faced. We had better understand it's moving causes if we are at all interested in conquering it.
