RECALL :
Baby formula maker Nara Organics said it is voluntarily recalling all of its infant formula, currently available in the United States, over potential risk of bacterial contamination.” Nara “said the U.S. FDA and CDC contacted it late Friday and provided information about three infant botulism cases involving babies who had consumed Nara’s formula.” In a “statement, Nara Organics said that while none of its formula tested positive for C. botulinum, it was recalling the products ‘in an abundance of caution.’”
The FDA “said on June 13 that the three infants were hospitalized and were undergoing treatment in California, Washington, and Pennsylvania.”

CDC is warning parents to not use the product, “which is sold on the company’s website and at Target, after three babies confirmed to have consumed it contracted botulism.”

We also recognize that Mother’s Day can bring mixed emotions for some families , including those missing a mother, grieving a child, facing infertility, navigating illness, or carrying unseen struggles. Please know we are holding space for you today as well.

Stomach bug going around? Here’s what parents need to know 🤢💧

Gastroenteritis (a “stomach virus”) is very common in children and usually causes:
• Vomiting
• Diarrhea
• Stomach cramps
• Low-grade fever

💡 Most important treatment = HYDRATION
Small, frequent sips work best!
✔️ Oral rehydration (Pedialyte)
✔️ Breastmilk or formula for infants
✔️ Avoid sugary drinks (can worsen diarrhea)

🍽️ Once vomiting improves, slowly reintroduce foods:
Bananas • Rice • Applesauce • Toast (simple + gentle)

🚨 Call your pediatrician if:
• No urine for 8+ hours (or fewer wet diapers)
• Dry mouth, no tears, very sleepy
• Persistent vomiting or blood in stool
• High fever or symptoms lasting >3 days

🧼 Prevention tip: Handwashing is key—these viruses spread easily!

Most kids recover in a few days, but staying ahead of dehydration makes all the difference 💙
