Full Circle Home Veterinary Care Veterinary housecall practice providing welllness exams, care for sick pets, hospice care, euthanasia, and behavioral consults by Dr. Anja Wurm

My goal is to provide veterinary care in a way you have not experienced before. For me Full Circle Home Veterinary Care means caring for your animal from the moment it enters your home, guiding it gracefully through the golden years and then to a farewell that is as peaceful and pain free as possible. Being in your own home means that you and your pet can relax and get more out of your veterinary visit then you have ever before

Second one I found today!
I hate them!!

Your preventatives aren’t broken!

This is a very common time for an increase in ticks, but do make sure they are up-to-date on their protection!

2nd to last step in the process of becoming a certified hospice and palliative care veterinarian is attending this online conference by International Association for Animal Hospice and Palliative Care. Love being surrounded by like-minded vets, I always learn something. (The last step is writing a paper so that may take a minute 🤣)

We are live! IAAHPC's Innovate with Intention conference has officially kicked off, opening with a keynote from Dr. Andy Roark to set the tone for three days of learning, connection, and inspiration.

There's still time to join us. With up to 57 hours of RACE and CVPM approved CE available, including sessions on end of life and euthanasia, pain management, complex cases, rehab and mobility, and more, this is the kind of hospice and palliative care education veterinary teams don't often get in one place. Plus you get 30 days of access to watch anything you can attend live this weekend.

Very important story about the corporatization of vet medicine.
Proud to be independent myself and relieved to be able to refer to privately owned practices most of the time thanks to Vergennes Animal Hospital and Middlebury Animal Hospital.

I’d love to be Nova’s vet 🐾❤️🐾

☀️🐾 Summer Safety Reminder: Cyanobacteria Awareness 🐾☀️

As the weather warms up, many of us are heading to the water with our pups. Unfortunately, cyanobacteria (blue-green algae) can pose a serious risk to pets. Keep an eye out for warning signs posted near lakes and ponds, and if your pet seems “off” after swimming — vomiting, diarrhea, weakness, drooling, difficulty walking, or seizures — seek veterinary care immediately.

One helpful way to keep your pets safe this summer is by checking the Cyanobacteria Interactive Map monitored by the Vermont Department of Health before heading out for a swim. While the map relies heavily on self-reporting and may not always be 100% up to date, it can still be a useful tool when deciding where to bring your dog to swim safely.

Stay safe and enjoy summer adventures responsibly! 💙
