Sussex Tech Mustangs Football needs our help.
A message from SCTS Football Team & Parents:
Sussex Tech doesn't have stadium lights. Our field and facilities are outdated. Our students come from communities all across Sussex County, and transportation challenges can make it difficult for some kids to participate consistently.
And then there's the cycle that comes with being a struggling program.
Kids join. They struggle. They get discouraged. Some don't come back.
How are you supposed to develop a competitive football program when you can't consistently retain players long enough to develop their skills, build chemistry, and grow together as a team?
We're not pretending that better facilities will magically make the Mustangs undefeated. And we know this prize won't solve every challenge our athletes face.
But it could help us build a program that kids are excited to join, proud to represent, and motivated to stick with.
**SUCCESS SHOULDN'T BE A PREREQUISITE FOR OPPORTUNITY.**
Sometimes opportunity is exactly what makes success possible.
So instead of asking why T-Mobile chose a struggling football program, maybe we should be asking why a struggling football program wouldn't deserve this opportunity just as much as anyone else…
**IF NOT MORE!!** 🔥🏈
These kids deserve a fair shot.
💚💛 JERSEY STRONG. MUSTANG PROUD.
