🎙️ I recently had the opportunity to sit down for a podcast interview to share a little more about the heart behind Liv Equipt and Equipt Kids!

While pediatric occupational therapy and home accessibility assessments may seem like two very different services, they share one common goal: helping individuals of all ages live more independently, confidently, and safely.

🌿 Through Equipt Kids, we help children develop the skills they need to grow, play, learn, and thrive in their everyday environments.

🏡 Through Liv Equipt, we help individuals and families navigate challenges related to mobility, accessibility, and independence through personalized home assessments, adaptive equipment recommendations, and home modification solutions.

From helping a child gain confidence in everyday activities to helping an older adult safely remain in their home, our mission is the same: improving quality of life through meaningful, individualized solutions.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to share our story, passion for occupational therapy, and the importance of looking beyond limitations to see what’s possible.

We love being a part of the AT Alabama conference and this fantastic group! More pics to come!

AT Alabama would not happen without this group. Our planning committee works throughout the year to plan, problem-solve, and bring AT Alabama to life.

Four pre-conference activities, 525 attendees, 65 vendors, 62 breakout sessions, and three pretty incredible days!

And the best part? Seeing so many people come together to learn about assistive technology, make connections, and build community. This team helped make all of that possible.
