Andrea and Eagle had a great ride this evening. Andrea's cues were on point and Eagle was extremely responsive. Sliding up against the rail to "deliver the mail" with our Pony Express game is a great way to develop precision. Andrea finished the session with several walk-trot transitions and did an incredible job. They are such a great team!

We had another beautiful evening for lessons today! Megan and Roxy were joined by David and Eagle for some follow-the-leader games and tandem riding. The activities required Megan focus on navigating her own obstacles while maintaining awareness of the other rider's position in the arena and coordinating with them to achieve certain tasks.

Laura and Journey joined Andrea's lesson today as a companion rider. Having a second horse and rider can serve several functions in a lesson, and today it added some complexity for Andrea. Eagle was easily distracted, meaning Andrea had to be focused and clear in her communication with him. They are such a good team and navigated the challenges extremely well.

Tabatha and Megan rode together in a group lesson this evening.

We have elk bugling around the property and scarecrows in the arena - and we all agree, we love pumpkin spice season!
