Slow, subtle, and intentional. 🤍💋

We’ve been gradually enhancing this beauty’s lips since 2024, using small amounts of filler (½ syringe at a time) over multiple appointments.

Rather than chasing dramatic volume in one session, we’ve taken a conservative approach, slowly building fullness, improving shape, and maintaining beautiful, natural proportions. Now she is simply on a yearly maintenance schedule.

The goal has never been to change her lips completely, but to enhance what’s already there. ✨

A little patience + a thoughtful approach = beautiful, natural-looking results.

This patient came in wanting to target those pesky red vessels and this is her skin immediately after we zapped those bad boys! 👏🏼

BBL HEROic allows us to precisely target vascular redness while also improving overall tone and skin clarity. The temporary redness you see here is an expected immediate response as the skin reacts to treatment.

Now we let BBL do its thing. ✨ Results continue to develop as the skin heals and those vessels fade.

At Awaken, our Hormone & Wellness Optimization process starts with a comprehensive initial lab panel because understanding what’s happening beneath the surface gives us a much better picture of how you’re feeling — and where we may be able to help.

Our initial panel takes a deeper look at areas such as:

A little behind the scenes of why Awaken was created. 🤍

Awaken began in a season when my children were still very young and I was feeling the tension between two parts of my life that I deeply loved.

I loved being a family practice nurse practitioner. I loved caring for people, using my education and experience, and making a meaningful difference. But I also loved being a mom, and I didn’t want pursuing a career I was passionate about to mean missing the school mornings, activities, ordinary days and little moments that mattered most.

I began asking myself whether it was possible to build a career that honored both.

I wanted more flexibility for my family, but I didn’t want to step away from meaningful work. I wanted to continue serving others while creating a life that allowed me to be present for the people I loved most.

That desire became the beginning of Awaken.

What started as a way to create more balance for our family has grown into something far beyond what I initially imagined. It has become a place where care can feel personal, intentional and deeply meaningful.

Awaken was built on the belief that success should not require choosing between the work you love and the life you value. It should make room for both.

And while Awaken has grown and evolved, its purpose remains the same:

To do work that matters, serve people well, and help create a more intentional, balanced way of living. One that honors both personal purpose and the people who matter most.
