Halloween is all about fun, treats, and making memories! 🎃🍬 You don't have to skip the sweets-simple swaps can help make your celebration a little more balanced.

- Try these easy swaps:
- Candy → Apple slices with peanut butter
- Chips → Air-popped popcorn
- Sugary drinks → Water or sparkling water with fruit
- Large candy portions → Smaller treats enjoyed mindfully
- Dessert-only snack → Fruit paired with yogurt or nuts

💡 Tip: Enjoy Halloween treats in moderation and pair them with nutritious foods throughout the day. Balance-not perfection-is the goal!

Have fun, enjoy your favorite treats, and make Halloween a healthy and happy celebration for the whole family.

- Help manage certain types of urinary incontinence
- Support pelvic floor muscle strength
- Address pelvic floor changes associated with childbirth or ageing
EMSELLA may be an option for people experiencing bladder-control concerns, but suitability depends on individual needs and medical history.

💜 DID YOU KNOW YOU CAN STRENGTHEN YOUR PELVIC FLOOR JUST BY SITTING IN A CHAIR?

Meet EMSELLA® at FamilyFirst Primary Care! ✨

Your pelvic floor muscles play an important role in bladder control, core support, and intimate wellness — yet they’re often overlooked!

The EMSELLA chair uses HIFEM (High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic) technology to deliver electromagnetic energy to the pelvic floor region, stimulating thousands of pelvic floor muscle contractions to help strengthen these important muscles. 💪

✨ One 28-minute session = approximately 11,000 Kegels!

💜 Urinary incontinence: A non-invasive treatment option for men and women experiencing bladder leakage.

💜 Pelvic floor strengthening: Helps strengthen and rehabilitate pelvic floor muscles.

💜 Intimate wellness: A healthy pelvic floor plays an important role in sexual function and overall quality of life.

💜 Convenient and non-invasive: Simply sit fully clothed in the chair while the technology does the work — with no surgery or downtime typically required.

Whether you experience leakage when coughing, sneezing, laughing, or exercising, or simply want to learn more about pelvic floor health, let’s talk! Bladder leakage is common, but you don’t have to be embarrassed to seek help. 💜

Seeing elevated liver enzymes on your blood work can be concerning, but an abnormal result does not automatically mean you have liver disease or permanent liver damage.

🧪 Common causes can include:
• Fatty liver disease
• Alcohol use
• Certain medications or supplements
• Viral hepatitis
• Diabetes and metabolic conditions
• High cholesterol or triglycerides
• Recent illness or strenuous exercise

ALT and AST are two commonly measured enzymes. Your healthcare provider looks at these results together with your other lab results, medical history, medications, and symptoms to understand what may be causing the elevation.

- Supporting liver health may include:
- Eating a balanced diet
- Staying physically active
- Maintaining a healthy weight
- Limiting alcohol
- Reviewing medications and supplements with your provider

If you've received abnormal liver test results, don't panic—but don't ignore them either. Talk with your healthcare provider to understand what your results mean and whether follow-up testing is needed.

✨ REAL PATIENT. REAL GOALS. HER EMSCULPT NEO JOURNEY STARTS TODAY! 💪🤍

Today, we kicked off this patient’s EMSCULPT NEO® journey at FamilyFirst Primary Care!

After having two children, her goals are to strengthen her core, build muscle, and reduce visceral fat as part of her overall wellness journey.

One of the things I love about EMSCULPT NEO is the ability to personalize treatment. During today’s session, she noticed some extra warmth in one area, so we adjusted the radiofrequency (RF) energy while maintaining the HIFEM+ intensity at her tolerated level. Comfort matters, and treatment can be tailored to each patient’s experience!

✨ And here’s something interesting she shared after her first session: she noticed she didn’t feel the need to brace or clench her core when coughing, as she usually does. While this is an early observation and not a guarantee of results, it’s exciting to hear about her experience!

We’re just getting started! 🙌 Stay tuned as we follow her progress and share more about her EMSCULPT NEO journey.

Triglycerides are a type of fat found in your blood. Your body needs them for energy, but levels that remain elevated can be associated with increased cardiovascular risk.

🩺 What can contribute to high triglycerides?
• Too much added sugar or refined carbohydrates
• Excess alcohol
• Physical inactivity
• Poorly controlled diabetes
• Certain medications or medical conditions
• Genetics

- Healthy habits that may help:
- Choose more vegetables, beans, whole grains, nuts, and seeds
- Include fatty fish such as salmon or sardines
- Reduce sugary drinks and added sugars
- Stay physically active
- Limit alcohol, especially when triglycerides are significantly elevated
- Choose healthier unsaturated fats such as olive oil and avocado

💡 High triglycerides often cause no symptoms, which is why routine blood testing is important. Your healthcare provider can interpret your results alongside your cholesterol, blood pressure, blood sugar, medications, and overall health.
