Anchor ABA

The Anchor ABA crew spent the last weekend of the Norfolk Tides season at Harbor Park! ...laughing, cheering, playing, (and sweating!) while rooting for the Norfolk Tides in their last game of the season.

It was such a great day and a great excuse to get all these kids together, too!

Thank you, Norfolk Tides Baseball for a fantastic afternoon of baseball and family time.

Anchor ABA partnered with Speech at the Beach, PLLC and VB Parks and Rec to install more communication boards at local neighborhood parks, and promote inclusions for all kids! We're so happy to be a part of this project and look forward to the installation of our communication board at Marshview Park in the Shadowlawn neighborhood of VB. 🩵

Thirteen additional weather-resistant communication boards are being installed across our parks over the next couple of months. These specialized boards make it easier for individuals with limited speech to express themselves, promoting inclusive play. The new boards join 11 others already in place.

We appreciate these community partners for their
generous support:
• Speech at the Beach, PLLC
• Sentara
• Anchor ABA
• Dr Sarah Orthodontics and Aesthetics
• Dwell
• Empresas Velazquez Inc.
• The family of Aurelio and Luisa (Isabella) Ćárcamo
• Mej Mej
• Quantum
• Smarty Symbols Studio
• TowneBank
• Wave of Life Chiropractic

Have you or a loved one used a communication board? Drop a line and let us know!

ABA is often known for having a very structured approach to teaching and supporting kids with different behavioral and learning needs. We are NOT that!

This photo is from a real session.
This is what we do.

We want to work with YOU, as the parent, to determine the most important things to address and then move forward to improve quality of life as a whole.

We want to fit into your life.

We want to help where and when you need it.

We want to see the whole child and not just a checklist of unmet goals.

Your child is so much more than that.
