You’ll find her welcoming patients at our front desk or out connecting with the community. She rarely meets a stranger and brings years of experience in healthcare, marketing, and business leadership.

Originally from Arkansas, Shelley and her husband now call Waco home. She loves spending time with her daughters and grandsons, cooking and baking, staying active, and being involved in her church. Shelley brings a warm, caring spirit to ARK Primary Care and has a heart for serving others. We’re so grateful to have her on our team!

Meet Karen!✨

She runs our front office and has over 5 years of experience in the medical field. She provides compassionate patient care, exceptional customer service, and creates a welcoming experience for everyone that comes through our door. She enjoys building meaningful connections with both patients and coworkers, and takes pride in supporting our team every day.
Outside of work, Karen is a proud wife and mom to her 3 amazing kids! She loves baking, spending quality time with her family, and cheering on her son from the soccer sidelines.

She is our certified medical laboratory assistant and phlebotomist and brings nearly a decade of experience to the ARK Primary Care team!
Whether she is drawing labs or welcoming patients, she is passionate about making everyone feel comfortable, cared for, and at ease.
Outside the clinic, you’ll find her enjoying the outdoors with her family and keeping up with her 13 year old son and 3 year old daughter who keep life full, adventurous, and fun.
