Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do in the middle of a stressful day is give yourself a moment to breathe. 🤍
Not because a few deep breaths will magically solve everything you’re dealing with.
But because when your mind is racing, your shoulders are tense, and you’re already thinking about the next ten things on your list, your body deserves a little attention, too.
Here’s something I encourage you to try today.
Pause for just 60 seconds.
Unclench your jaw.
Relax your shoulders.
Feel your feet on the ground.
Take a gentle breath in.
And allow yourself a slow, comfortable exhale.
No pressure to do it perfectly. No need to force a deep breath if that doesn’t feel good.
Just notice what happens when you give yourself permission to slow down.
This is one small example of the body-based awareness we explore through my private coaching and healing work.
Because nervous system regulation isn’t about never feeling stressed.
It’s about developing the awareness and resources to respond to life’s challenges with greater flexibility, rather than feeling like you’re constantly running on empty.
And sometimes, that begins with a single breath.
A little reminder today: You don’t have to wait until everything is finished to take care of yourself.
🤍 Save this for the next time your mind feels a little too full.
