Meet Emily Santucci, FNP-C, the newest member of our Fanwood team! Before joining us, she practiced at a concierge pediatric practice, where she developed meaningful relationships with families and provided personalized care to children from infancy through adolescence. She also spent seven years in the emergency department at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell.

Emily is a local mom who lives in Westfield with her husband, daughter, and their two dogs, Kona and Winnie. When she’s not in the office, you’ll find her reading, on Long Beach Island, or searching for New Jersey’s best pizza!

Effective November 30, 2026, Watchung Pediatrics will go out of network with Horizon NJ Health. We will stay in network with Aetna Better Health of New Jersey, another NJ FamilyCare plan, so your child can keep seeing us in 2027. To switch, call NJ FamilyCare at 1-800-701-0710.

WARREN OFFICE DETOUR UPDATE — September 10, 2026

Please do not use Stiles Road as a detour during the Stirling Road bridge closure. These directions replace the Watchung Circle route in our earlier closure post.

Our Warren office remains open at 76 Stirling Road, Suite 201.

From the Watchung Circle:
1. Take the Hillcrest Road exit.
2. Turn left onto High Oaks Boulevard.
3. Turn right onto Deer Path.
4. At the stop sign, turn left onto Old Smalleytown Road.
5. At the traffic light, turn left onto Stirling Road.
6. Turn left into our parking lot at 76 Stirling Road.

Follow posted detour signs and allow an extra 15 minutes for your appointment. If you need help finding us, call 908-755-5437.

Dr. Halpern earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Touro College and completed his pediatrics residency and chief residency at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He’s warm, thoughtful, and yes — the bow tie is a signature.
