National Hispanic Medical Association The National Hispanic Medical Association is the premiere membership association representing the interests of 50K+ licensed Hispanic physicians.

NHMA represents over 50,000 Hispanic physicians committed to improving the health of Hispanic populations and working with our public and private sector partners. The National Hispanic Medical Association (NHMA), in partnership with the National Coalition of STD Directors (NCSD), invites you to join an exciting webinar on September 23 at 1 p.m. ET to explore the intersection of HIV and aging.

Our upcoming webinar will examine how health care providers and public health professionals can better address the evolving needs of people aging with HIV. The discussion will bring together two complementary perspectives: the geriatric lens, which considers how aging and age-related conditions influence HIV care, and the HIV disease intervention lens, which explores how chronic HIV infection and its effects on the immune system may influence the aging process.

Participants will learn about current challenges, evidence-based approaches, and opportunities to improve health outcomes and quality of life for people aging with HIV.

Clinical Trials can serve as a bridge to care.

For many underserved patients, clinical trials can open doors to treatments that would otherwise be out of reach, especially for conditions with few approved therapies or high medication costs. Trial participation can mean early access to promising new treatments, close monitoring from a dedicated care team and no cost for study-related care and medications.

Community-based recruitment and trusted local physicians help make trials accessible to the patients who need them most. Mi Clínica Mi Comunidad is committed to connecting underserved communities with these opportunities.
