AI cannot protect your privacy

When you share sensitive information with AI, you risk the AI exposing your conversation to search engines; or, your sensitive information becoming part of ""model memorization"", which can cause AI to release your personal details into future responses. Additionally, AI companies may keep your personal information in their systems, risking data exposure.

For example, if you ask a medical question, the AI might share or sell that information to search engines or advertisers. Slowly, this information starts to drip through your internet ecosystem: you start to see ads targteted towards you that may contain oddly specific information, or you receive emails from insurance companies.

If you have a question about your health, call your health center. Our Triage Nurses or on-call clinicians can help direct you to next steps with judgement-free support based on years of experience and training. We're here for you.

Pap smears test for both cervical cancer and HPV and are recommended every 3 years. Most women should start screening for cervical cancer at 21.

Do you know about Carol's Corner?

Carol Eckert, MD, was a beloved part of the HealthReach community, and dedicated her entire career to serving the people of Sheepscot Valley & beyond. In honor of her love of the children she served, Carol's Corner was created at Sheepscot Valley Health Center to allow kids to take home free books to read.
