We’ve been seeing a serious uptick in people trying microneedling at home, and this is one trend we definitely need to leave behind.

Microneedling is a professional treatment for a reason. Once you’re creating tiny punctures in the skin, there’s a lot more to consider than just the device itself, including depth, technique, sanitation and what you’re putting on your skin afterward.

It’s just not worth risking irritation, infection, hyperpigmentation or unnecessary scarring.
