We work collaboratively with the medical team and we are able to coordinate local, state and national services with our services to ensure the needs of our children and their families are met. This coordination of education and support is critical as it has been shown to increase both a child’s quality of life and overall chance of survival. When a child is diagnosed with cancer their childhood da
ys quickly change to be filled with chemotherapy and endless doctor and hospital visits. Life not only changes for the child diagnosed with cancer but for the entire family. Doctors and Nurses work hard to cure the cancer but families need more than just medical help to get through this stressful and fearful time in their lives. This is where the Kids Cancer Foundation steps in to fill this void. With the opening of the first Kids Cancer Center, the Kids Cancer foundation will be able to fill the many unmet needs and expand their services to better serve these Little Warriors. The Kids Cancer Center will be located next to Palm West Hospital. The Kids Cancer Foundation has the dedication, knowledge and resources to assist families during this difficult time and we actively advocate for the child and family throughout treatment and beyond. Friday was the Kids Cancer Foundation’s 16th Annual Kids Cancer Golf Tournament! 🏌🏼♂️& we are so thankful to have hosted our largest tournament to date! It was also the first time the tournament was held at Bayan Golf Club. ✨⛳️
This event is a signature fundraiser of KCF that allows us to provide easily accessible, supportive care services to local children and families battling childhood cancer.

It was a great day beginning with a buffet lunch, followed by a round of golf and ending with a beautiful cocktail reception. We couldn’t be more grateful for the Big Heroes who came out for the day to support our strong Little Warriors.

This past Saturday, Kids Cancer Foundation honored all our Young Warriors at the Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach. 🎗
As September marks Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, we use this time to recognize the children and families affected by childhood cancers & to emphasize the importance of supporting research on these devastating conditions. 💛
Saturday however, was for the kids!
Our amazing volunteers showed out to volunteer at the many stations of crafts, goodies and games. Arts for Smiles brought their own crafts and a collaborative art project for the kids as well!🎨
We are so thankful to be able to enjoy & share this time with the families in our community affected by childhood cancer.🎗 Thank you to all who helped make this beautiful day possible for our families! 🌟

Cali, her mom and brother visited the North Palm Beach Fire Department this morning for a wonderful morning at a look behind the scenes of a firefighter! They even got to ride in the fire truck & saw the firefighters suit up for an actual call! 🌟🧑🏾🚒👩🏼🚒
It was an amazing experience for the family and they had such a great time! 🔥

Tonight we hosted our Back-to-School Bash at this Kids Cancer Center! 📚🔔🎒
It was an absolute full house of KCF families & volunteers and such a great time! 🌟Our students collected backpacks filled with all their school essentials for the upcoming year! There were also crafts to do, Pub subs to eat, and fun handouts! ✨✏️📓✂️
We would like to give a huge Big Hero Thanks to Life.Church Wellington for so graciously collecting & donating all the backpacks for our kids! We couldn’t have had such a successful event without their support! 🎗️👏💜

PARTY VIBES on the last day of KCF Summer Camp!! 🌟🥰💕
Today we ended camp with a great extravaganza to celebrate Cali’s 6 and a half birthday!! 🥳🍦🍧
The theme of party was ice cream & we even had our own ice cream truck from South Florida Sweets visit so everyone could enjoy ice cream! We also had an ice cream cone shaped pull apart cake! 🍦🎂🧁
We played a ton of games and had so much fun together! Cali’s family & friends & our therapy dog, Zeus, also joined us for the day, making it an extra special celebration! 🎉
We’re sad to see our campers go, but we’re so happy we could finish out on such a sweet note! 🏕️🥰💕

Lots of laughs and fun at KCF Camp today! 🥰
This morning we were visited by Hulett Environmental Services and their entomologist, Ben! 🪲 The campers learned all kinds of things about different bugs, the difference between an ant and a termite, and viewed a variety of preserved insects! 🐜🐞🕷️
We even celebrated Young Warrior Caedyn’s 5th birthday!!🥳 We took a quiz about Caedyn’s favorite things, he received a special ninja t-shirt & birthday gifts, and we had cupcakes and cookie cake to celebrate his day! 🥷🎁
We also crafted flower pots & rock plants, vases & pipe-cleaner flowers, and played bingo! 🌼🪨
All-in-all, it was a super fantastic day!! 🌟
Another fantastic day at KCF Summer Camp!! 🌞
This morning we were visited by rangers of Hugh Taylor Birch State Park in Ft. Lauderdale! 🏞️ They even brought with them a gopher tortoise, named Cinnamon! 🐢
The campers then colored tortoise coloring pages, made tortoise visors and took adorable photos in a gopher tortoise photo op! 🐢📸🖍️ They also got their own tortoise souvenir and sticker!
For our lab time today we made elastic powered boats using rubber bands, cardboard and duct tape! ⛵️ Then we raced them!
For craft time we made watermelon fans 🍉🪭💕
Later, we played bingo with some awesome prizes! 🏆
We ended the day crafting campsite snacks with graham crackers & treats and watched The Jungle Book! 🏕️🐻🦧
Today we got buggy for nature week at camp! 🪲🐛🐞🐜
After our morning game time, we crafted bug characters out of clothes pins with various craft items 🦋✨
Then, we had Taco Tuesday lunch and made our own sun visors! 🌮🌞
We also built our own Lego kits! 🧱
For snack we made cracker & donut spiders and watched “A Bugs’ Life”! 🍩🕸️👀🐜

Today we played tons of games, made paper bag princesses & dragons, decorated seashells, and had a seashell hunt! 🐉 👸 🐚
We also celebrated Lucas’ 6th birthday with a Sonic the Hedgehog party!! 🎉🥳
It’s the last week of camp & we are so excited for all the fun this week will bring! 🥰
Fun fun FRIDAY!! 🥳✨🎗️
Today we had an amazing morning with Ms. Linda, Ms. Rita and Ms. Angela of Art & Grace! 🎨 They taught the kids step-by-step how to paint a landscape. The kids were so engaged and excited to see their finished works of art! 🖼️
We also played loads of games, more musical chairs, and had a pizza party! 🎵🍕
Ms. Emily also did awesome processing groups with the kids! 💕
In the afternoon we built structures and played with Play Doh! The kids enjoyed the challenge of creating a Play Doh course to get a marble to the other side and learning how Play Doh was invented 🔎
We ended the day with donuts and Aladdin! 🍩🧞
It was a fantastic day at KCF Camp! 🥰🎗️✨
This morning we finished our handprint optical illusions, and had loads of fun creating our own Lego sets! ✋🖍️🧱
In the afternoon, we let our wiggles out indoors and beat the heat in the shade with bubble play ✨🫧
Later, we played musical chairs, and the kids had a blast crafting “cloud dough”! ✨☁️🎨🎵
We ended the day watching a movie while finishing & playing with our Lego creations 😊

Today we got expressive with our guest speaker, Ms. Stacey, making music on our “drums”. 🥁🎗️

This morning we heard from Ms. Linda who often donates her time & talent to make pillow cases for us! Today, Ms. Linda came in and gave the kids a lesson about sewing & had each of the kids make their own bean bags! The kids had the best time helping make their bean bags and playing with them afterwards. 🪡😄
For lunch, we did Taco Tuesday! 🌮🌯 Then, we let our wiggles out with bubble time! 🫧
Later, we did started our handprint optical illusions & began building magnetic cars for our lab time. ✋🧲🚙✨
We ended the day with an awesome mystery taste test! The kids were blindfolded and had to guess which flavor or type of treat they were tasting. 🍬 ❓ 🍫
We ended out the day by finishing up ‘Inside Out’ the movie! 🍿

Today we had a ton of fun, and TWO guest speakers. This morning, we heard from Mr. John who is the general manager of Retro Fitness! He taught the kids the importance of exercise and shared some meaningful lessons about never giving up and teamwork! 🏋️♀️💪🤸♀️
In the afternoon, we were visited by Tyler, the creator of Froggy Fresh Rap on YouTube! 🎥📺 He and his family hung out with the kiddos for the afternoon! He helped us with our expressive sun craft and stayed for our interactive snack time and movie. 🎨🥨🌞🍪
It was a great day and we’re so happy to be back together for camp again! 🥰🕶️
Today was an amazing day to close out Superhero Week at KCF Camp! 🦸🏽♂️✨🎗️
This morning we were visited by Dr. Sainvil’s KidzVil Pediatric Dentistry. They taught the kids about dental hygiene & helped the kids paint their own smile canvases! 🦷🖌️🎨
We also played with bubbles again in front of the center before hearing from environmentalist, Ms. Dara! 🫧🐊 Dara taught the kids about her job as an environmentalist & about the Florida Wetlands! 🌾💛
We closed out the day with 4th of July Bingo , snack and Zootopia! 🇺🇸✨
It’s been an awesome month of KCF Camp, and we can’t wait to get back at it on 7/10 with two more weeks of awesome times! 🏕️🥳
More Superhero KCF Camp fun! ✨🦸🏽♂️🎗️
Today we were visited by real life superheroes from the Palm Beach County Fire Department! They taught the kids about fire safety, firework safety for the upcoming 4th of July, and gave the kids a tour of their fire truck & rescue truck! 🚒🧑🚒
It was a Wonderful Wednesday at KCF Camp! ✨
In the morning Mr. Ken, the machinist, visited us and taught the kids about his job and magnets! ⚙️ He brought in parts and the kids loved being able to ask questions about what he does!
The campers also made their own magic magnetic wands with Ms Marla! 🧲🪄
Then, we played with bubbles in front the center & let our wiggles out with indoor games. 🫧
Later in the day, we were visited by the PBSO Bomb Squad who brought in their robot & taught the kids about the robot and their jobs! 🤖 The kids were absolutely amazed!
To end the day, we had Hulk pudding cups as our superhero snack! 💚
Superhero Week is going marvelously! ✨🦸🏽♂️
This morning we were visited by Palm Beach County Sheriff Officers , Deputy Mike & Diane! They talked to the kids about overall safety, when to call 9-1-1, and gave them a lot of information about their jobs! 👮🏼♀️🚓👮🏻♂️
Then, we made our superhero flags and had a taco Tuesday lunch! ✨🦸🏻♀️🌮
We also played at the park and learned about static electricity with a balloon lab! 🛝🎈⚡️
We ended the day with donuts and a movie! 🍩🎞️
It was a SUPER fantastic start to Superhero Week at the Kids Cancer Center! ✨🦸🏽♂️🎗️
After our morning Big Room/Board Game time, we were visited by Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Motorcade officers! They showed the kids their bikes and talked about their jobs. The kids loved being able to see the motorcycles up close and ask questions about police work! 🏍️🚨👮🏻♂️
After that, we spent the rest of the morning designing our own superhero capes and masks! The kids even came up with their own superhero names, backstories and superpowers. They were so fun & creative! ✨🦸🏻♀️🦹🏾🦸🏽♂️✨
When we finished lunch, we let our wiggles out at the park and played football! 🏃🏽🏈🛝
We finished out the day with “Aquaman’s Friends” as a snack and then watched Disney’s Sky High! 🐟🧜♀️🍿
What a super day! 🌟
We had a full house and a spectacular end to the week at KCF Camp today! ✨💫
In the morning, we experienced an awesome magic show by Mark Gobeo Magic. The campers were in awe! 🪄✨
We processed with Ms. Emily after our lunch pizza party. 🍕😊
After that, our guest speakers from Art & Grace, Ms. Laura & Ms. Rita, read poetry and had the kids write their very own creative poems! 📝
To close out space week, the kids made their own starry constellation graham crackers! 🌌🌟

We were visited by our friends at Art for Smiles who helped the kids make art journals! Every camper received their own sketchbook that they designed and an art goodie bag! The kids had such a great time! 🥰✍️✨
We also played a bunch of classroom games like silent speedball, 4 corners and bubble gum bubble gum! After we let our wiggles out outside, we got artsy again with space keychain gem paintings! 🛸🖌️
