*** Stitches in second slide don’t swipe if that triggers you!***
It’s been a wild ride! I’m almost 7 weeks post surgery now for a fully ruptured Achilles’ tendon. It’s been quite a journey. There have been tears, fear, pain, gratitude and hope. Still a long road ahead but starting to pop my head back out into the world slowly make my way back to teaching and training.
I could never have gotten this far without the support and help of my husband and my daughter. They literally had to do everything for me at the beginning and continue to do so much. As well as this wonderful community of friends, students and clients. My amazing Body Boutique community who continue to give me the honour of allowing to be a part of their fitness journey and give their endless support. It is so deeply appreciated.
Love you all so much. I feel like we have been through so much together!
To all the people who visited, dropped off food, gift cards, wrote me notes, shared their own recovery stories with me, checked on me I can not thank you enough for how much that helped me and lifted me spirits. Not going to lie I know there are way worse things and my heart goes out to everyone dealing with those but this had a big impact on me, my family, especially my parents who need me right now to help, my spirits and my livelihood.
Another big thank you to my family and .primalperformance and of course and Thank you for finding and continuing to find endless subs for me, for offering help, cards, flowers, drop in’s and kind messages of support. To for sending all the amazing and helpful supplements to support my recovery. I am so grateful!
Also thank you to my surgeon Dr. Carlos Lopez for his skills, kind nature and really going the extra distance to make sure I was ok. A wonderful human and doctor.
I’ll be taking it slow but I will be making a come back. Thank you ❤️
