Kate-Lyn Birchell
Salt H2O Medspa and IV Hydration

From Caring for Patients to Building a Wellness Community 💙
What happens when a passion for healthcare, a heart for helping others, and a little entrepreneurial courage come together? You get Kate-Lyn Birchell, owner and medical director of Salt H2O MedSpa & Hydration, LLC!
With more than 14 years in healthcare, Kate-Lyn's journey began as a Patient Care Technician at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital and grew through nursing, advanced practice, education, and now business ownership. Today, she continues practicing as an APRN in urgent care while mentoring future nurses as a Clinical Adjunct Instructor at Three Rivers Community College.
A lifelong resident of southeastern Connecticut, Kate-Lyn has called Preston home for 13 years. Her love for the community runs deep, and her commitment to caring for others extends well beyond the healthcare setting.
Together with business partner and close friend Carlos Diaz, Kate-Lyn built Salt H2O from the ground up, growing the practice to locations in Westerly, RI, and Gales Ferry, CT, in just two years!

Their mission? To create a personalized, welcoming environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered in their wellness journeys. With safety, education, and individualized care at the forefront, Salt H2O is about building relationships—not taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

And when she's not caring for patients, teaching, or running her business, Kate-Lyn enjoys traveling, reading, discovering new restaurants, and supporting local businesses alongside her husband, Kyle, their cat Zoey, and loved ones.

Her favorite saying says it all:
"Home isn't a location. It's who you are with." ❤️

The Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce is proud to celebrate Kate-Lyn Birchell and thank her for her dedication to healthcare, education, wellness, and the southeastern Connecticut community.

If you make way to No Name Pub and Islamorada Brewery Distillery in the The Florida Keys you maybe see a familiar sight on the walls.

We love spending time in the Keys cause of the Island Time vibe, which we try to bring to back to CT & RI and create a relaxing and rejuvenating atmosphere for all. We wish island breezes and salt air for everyone.

✨ Celebrating 2 Amazing Years! ✨

Two years ago, we opened our doors with a dream of helping our Westerly community look and feel their absolute best. During this time we were able to expand and help the Gales Ferry, CT community achieve these same goals. Today, we’re celebrating an incredible milestone, and we couldn’t have done it without each and every one of you.

To our amazing clients—thank you for trusting us, supporting us, and allowing us to be part of your self-care journey. Your loyalty means the world to us.

A very special thank you goes to our incredible staff. Your passion, dedication, and commitment to providing exceptional care are the heart of everything we do. We are so grateful for each of you and everything you bring to our MedSpa family.

Watching our vision grow has been an absolute blessing, and we’re so excited to continue serving even more amazing clients.

Here’s to two years of beauty, health, wellness, confidence, growth, and community—and to many more to come. Thank you for being part of our journey. We can’t wait to celebrate many more milestones together! 🤍
