Different specialties. Different billing needs.

A cardiac procedure, a psychotherapy session, and an orthopedic surgery don't follow the same billing workflow. Your billing support should reflect those differences.

GenMediTech provides specialty-focused medical billing support, including procedure coding, psychotherapy billing, and global period tracking.

Let’s talk about the support your practice needs.

Your claim was sent. Was it accepted for processing?

Submitting a claim is only one checkpoint. Review acknowledgement reports, resolve rejections, and confirm payer acceptance after resubmission.

Acceptance for processing does not guarantee payment. Keep tracking each claim through adjudication.

Need help with claim tracking, rejections, or billing follow-up? Connect with GenMediTech to discuss your practice’s billing workflow.

Humana’s timely filing limit is not always 90 days.

The deadline can change by product, provider agreement, network status, state, and claim type.

Current starting points include:

• Medicare Advantage: One year, unless the provider agreement states another period
• Commercial: 90 days only when no contract or state rule controls
• Humana Healthy Horizons Medicaid: State-specific
• Corrected, secondary, and disputed claims: Separate rules may apply

Before writing off a CO-29 denial, confirm the exact plan, deadline trigger, payer acceptance evidence, and appropriate next step.

The 2027 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule is still proposed. It is not final.

Practices should prepare now without treating proposed policies or payment rates as settled.

Use this time to:

• Review your highest-volume CPT codes
• Model the potential impact by specialty
• Check contracts tied to Medicare rates
• Wait for final CMS values before updating fee schedules or forecasts

CMS currently proposes conversion factors of $33.17 for qualifying APM participants and $32.84 for nonqualifying participants. Both remain subject to final rulemaking.

Planning early helps your team respond with better information when the final rule is released.
