The Alabama Parent Education Center (APEC), in partnership with the Alabama State Department of Education (ALSDE), is inviting parents and caregivers to participate in a parent interview.

What to Expect:

A successful school year is built on strong partnerships between families and educators. Parent-teacher conferences provide an opportunity to celebrate your child's progress, discuss concerns, and work together to support their learning and development.

For parents of children with disabilities, these conversations can be especially important for understanding classroom performance, reviewing supports and services, and ensuring their child's individual needs are being addressed.

You do not have to be an education expert to participate in a meaningful conference. Your knowledge of your child, combined with the teacher's knowledge of the classroom, can help create a strong foundation for success.
